Focus, not catalog.
We do not take every project, and that is deliberate. Every site is designed from scratch, written by hand and measured before it ships — a standard that only holds while the number of clients stays small enough to give each one the whole studio.
So we select. Before a price is quoted we decide whether the work fits what Starknot does best — and when it does, you get a studio that is not splitting its attention across a dozen other builds. That is what the standard is actually made of.
The story behind Starknot.
Starknot wasn't born in a boardroom. It was born out of frustration.
For a long time we watched the same pattern repeat itself across Latin America: small and medium businesses trapped in an exhausting cycle. They hired agencies that promised digital transformation, paid absurd amounts, and ended up with systems no one on their team actually understood. Black boxes. Endless dependencies. Opaque processes. And the moment something broke — because sooner or later, something always breaks — the client was held hostage by whoever built it.
That felt deeply unfair to us.
Because the businesses that drive the real economy of our region — the travel agencies, the family-run shops, the professional studios, the brands building something from the ground up — deserve technology built with the same level of care, ambition, and rigor that you'd dedicate to the most important project in the world. Because for the person building it with their own hands, that is the most important project in the world.
That's how Starknot was born.
We didn't come to sell tools. We came to change the way technology is built and delivered across Latin America.
We build one thing obsessively: websites that represent the business with the authority and intention it deserves. We approach every project as if it were our own, because we understand that behind every client there's a story, a team, and often a lifetime of savings.
But what defines us isn't what we build. It's how we deliver it.
The site is yours from day one — the design, the content, the entire intellectual property. While you're with us on the monthly maintenance plan, we host, manage, and care for it alongside you. Once the commitment we signed at the start is fulfilled, we hand over the full source code at no additional cost. No tricks, no traps, no surprises hidden in the fine print.
We're here because you want us here. Not because you have no other choice.
We believe true transformation isn't rented. It's owned. We believe transparency isn't a marketing strategy — it's the only honest way to do business. And we believe that technology, when built with intention, should give clients more freedom, not less.
And because, honestly, that's how we'd want to be treated ourselves.
What we believe
We build for the long term
The code we write today will be read by someone else two years from now. Every site is built with stable technology, a clear structure, and complete documentation, so it can be maintained and extended without being rewritten from scratch.
We sell outcomes, not deliverables
Nobody buys a site for the site itself. What matters is the presence that conveys authority, the visitor who becomes a customer, and the business that grows with a channel of its own. Every project is measured by those concrete outcomes.
Boring beats flashy
Proven patterns beat passing trends. Every technical and visual decision starts from what actually works in production, not from what stands out in a design gallery. Novelty only enters the project when it solves a real problem.
We say no
If a project doesn't fit what Starknot does well, it's declined honestly and referred to another professional when possible. One well-served client is worth more than three poorly-served ones: scope honesty protects the quality standard of the work delivered.
